Incorporation Session 6 - Forms of Business Ownership
Inside this session, we outline the various forms of business ownership. This is an introductory lesson where we identify the entity types which we will be covering in the rest of the series. A brief overview of the asset protection and business tools that we should be aware of. Kevin illustrates the asset protection fundamentals and how these structures can protect your wealth from lawsuits and taxes. Each of the entity types are covered and a bit of the history involved.
This is a short video that prepares the viewer for the following sessions where each of the entities will be discussed. Both advantages and disadvantages of each business form are outlined for the viewers. This is incredibly important so that a financial plan can be created. Different types of ownership are used for different types of protection and/or protection from various threats. Its important that you understand the capabilities and limitations of these entity types so that when you explore your own financial structure, you will be able to select a business form that is right for you.
